Zamzam (Zam) Dini (she/her) specializes in working with individuals and couples with trauma histories, utilizing Brainspotting, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and other trauma-focused modalities.
While primarily working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families, their practice is open to all. In addition to trauma work, she takes an experiential approach to therapy, showing up authentically with humor and a systemic perspective.
Zam holds a PhD in Family Social Science, specializing in Couple & Family Therapy, from the University of Minnesota (2024) and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota (2016).
Passionate about culture, equity, and social justice in Marriage and Family Therapy, Zam focuses on supporting Bodies of Culture, interracial couples, racial trauma, minority stress, identity development, and Refugee, Immigrant, and Migrant (RIM) communities. Her approach balances high nurture with high challenge, offering sincerity, care, curiosity, and respectful accountability.
