As a psychotherapist, Gao believes people come from all walks of life where challenges have created various experiences and perspectives, and sometimes support is needed to strive for increased resiliency. Gao is a bilingual (Hmong and English) clinician who draws from various evidenced-based interventions including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), CBT, DBT, mindfulness and psychoeducation to develop skills and insight. She appreciates working with a diverse group of clients, especially working within the St. Paul Hmong community, where she was raised.
